What Is Urban Wear?
Urban wear has interchangeable names such street wear, or hiphop wear. It is the current in fashion and is supposed to replicate what you are on the street. Urban Wear

Trainers - They are available in a range of styles and brands, all depending on the person using them and of course there budget!
Hoodies - Hooded sweatshirts which are either zipped or pulled over the head. These again can come in a range of both colors and material be it lightweight or heavyweight material. The hoods can be worn over a cap on hanging down.
Hats - Baseball caps and beanie caps.
Most people will be surprised to learn that the Urban wear scene actually took its roots from skateboarders. Because of the nature of skaters, they want clothes that are loose fitting and sturdy, while also say slightly about who they are. These ranged in style from slip on shoes, and designer wallets to the hooded sweatshirts and caps we have seen in todays fashion. The clothes would often have a brandname design on emblem.
The Urban wear actually took of with all the skateboarding legends actually featuring there design on the skateboard in there clothes also. A brilliant piece of branding and marketing made people realize that if they want to show who they were they needed clothes that reflected both there environment where there attitude. Urban Wear
The Hiphop industry also took hold of the idea of clothing, plus the music you hear, saying who you are, along with big Hip Hop artists such as the Wu-tang clan releasing there own clothing range, it was not long before urban wear or rap wear becoming the key clothing items for fans. Out went the tracksuits plus came the jeans, Hoodies and fitted caps.
Hip Hop wear isn't just in regards to the clothes. It's about the method that you wear them. Fitted caps may be either pulled over the eyes or rested into the head. Hoodies and sweatshirts, feature either graffiti images or some kind of design that states who the person is and the environment they reside in.
With the huge influx of urban wear clothing, it's always best to shop around and find the ideal style to suit the image you want to portray. However be cautious about cheap imports!. With the increase of popularity of Urban wear, there's been an increase of fake or imitation items.
